2026 OnceTool — Preview YouTube Subscriber Counts Before Watching No more clicking into videos that are not worth your time. Hover over any YouTube thumbnail for 0.25 seconds, and a small icon will appear in the upper-left corner. Click it to see the real subscriber count of the video’s channel, then decide whether to spend time watching. Why we built this “Clicking in only to find ordinary content” happens every day. Subscriber count is not the only standard, but it is one of the most direct indicators of a channel’s size and stability. YouTube only shows this information after you open the video. This extension moves it to the moment before you click, giving you one more signal and helping you waste less time. Open YouTube, hover over a thumbnail for 0.25 seconds, and click the icon to see the subscriber count. What you will see Real subscriber count, sourced from Google’s official YouTube Data API v3 Works on the homepage, search results, channel pages, Shorts, and anywhere YouTube thumbnails appear 7-day server cache; repeated queries for the same channel are usually faster Default 0.25-second delay to avoid accidental triggers; adjustable in advanced settings to 150 / 300 / 500 / 800 ms Icon appears only on hover and does not modify YouTube’s original interface Data source and what we do not do Source: YouTube Data API v3, officially authorized by Google. We do not scrape YouTube pages We do not call unofficial YouTube APIs The displayed number is the channel’s official subscriber count. If the channel hides its subscriber count, it will show as hidden We do not: Collect your video browsing list Sell your hover behavior data Each hover only sends the video ID to the backend and returns the corresponding channel subscriber count.
