Whether you are explaining a product detail, asking for a photo or answering a delivery question, Moustor helps you get past the blank reply box while keeping the final decision with you. BUILT AROUND YOUR SHOP The details that make your shop different should also shape your replies. Moustor uses the information you provide in its dashboard to help write responses that reflect your products and the way you work. Your product information can give a draft useful context about materials, dimensions, compatibility and intended use. Your shop knowledge can explain shipping arrangements, care instructions, customization options and policies. Your reply rules can guide how particular situations should be handled, such as asking for a photo before recommending a replacement. You manage that information in the Moustor dashboard. The extension brings the resulting draft into the Etsy conversation where you need it. Keeping your shop information clear and current helps make the suggestions more useful. REPLY INSIDE ETSY MESSAGES Moustor adds a Draft reply button beside the message composer in an open Etsy conversation. When you request a draft, it reads the conversation currently available on the page and the available order-panel details, then asks the Moustor service to prepare a reply. The suggestion appears in Etsy's reply box, where you can read and edit it using the familiar composer. You do not need to copy each buyer message into a separate AI chat or paste the finished suggestion back into Etsy. The extension assists with the conversation you choose. It does not run an unattended inbox responder or automatically send buyer messages. GUIDE A DRAFT WITH YOUR OWN NOTE Sometimes you already know the answer but want help phrasing it. Sometimes you have made a decision and need a clear explanation. Type a short note in the reply box before clicking Draft reply to give Moustor direction for that specific response. For example: • "Ask for a side-on photo and the exact cylinder model before recommending a size." • "Explain that this part is plastic, not aluminium." • "Thank them for the photo and ask them to confirm the measurement." • "Keep the answer friendly and brief." You can also start with a rough reply and ask Moustor to improve its wording. The text already in the composer is used as guidance, and the returned draft replaces it for you to review. Include the facts and decisions that matter, then check that the result says what you intended. USE CONVERSATION AND ORDER CONTEXT A useful reply depends on what has already been discussed. Moustor uses the messages available in the open thread so that the draft can take the existing exchange into account. When available, it also includes information from the order panel, such as order status, shipping dates, estimated delivery, carrier, tracking and delivery details. This gives the drafting service relevant context for questions about an existing order. The extension can only work with the information available to it. Older messages that have not loaded, missing order details or outdated shop knowledge can affect a suggestion. Check the underlying Etsy order and your own records before confirming dates, compatibility, refunds or other commitments. REVIEW TRANSLATIONS AND RULE-CHECK WARNINGS Serving buyers in different languages can make even a straightforward question take longer to answer. Moustor can draft in the buyer's language and, when the service supplies one, show a translation to help you understand and review the response. When a draft is flagged for review, the extension displays a warning beside the reply workflow. These warnings help draw attention to points that need checking against your shop information or reply rules. Translations and rule checks are assistance, not a guarantee of accuracy. Read the draft carefully and edit anything that does not match your intent, policy or the facts of the order. PASTE SCREENSHOTS INTO A REPLY Some questions are easier to answer with an image. Moustor adds support for pasting supported clipboard images into the Etsy reply composer, so a screenshot can be passed to Etsy's attachment control without first saving it as a separate file. Etsy handles the attachment upload and preview. You still review the attachment and send the message yourself. Images pasted through this feature are not uploaded to Moustor by the extension. Etsy's attachment restrictions still apply. Ordinary text pasting continues to work, and you can keep using Etsy's native file picker and drag-and-drop controls. SEE YOUR ACCOUNT AT A GLANCE Open the extension popup to see your connected shop, account and monthly reply usage. From there, you can go directly to Etsy Messages, open your Moustor dashboard or manage your extension sign-in. If the account service cannot be reached, the popup can show the last saved account information with a connection warning. Cached usage may be out of date until the connection is restored. The popup and settings page support light and dark appearance. The settings page also includes sign-in, password-recovery access, privacy information and a short guide to your first reply. YOU REVIEW, EDIT AND SEND Moustor prepares suggestions. You decide what reaches the buyer. The extension never presses Etsy's Send button. It does not automatically accept a return, issue a refund, change an order or make a promise on your behalf. A suggested reply stays in the composer until you choose what to do with it. It also checks for changes while a draft is being prepared. If you switch conversations or change the reply text before the result returns, it avoids inserting that delayed result over the changed context. AI-generated text can contain mistakes or assumptions. Always verify names, measurements, product suitability, prices, delivery information and policy statements before sending. Edit or discard a suggestion whenever needed. GET STARTED 1. Install Moustor and create a Moustor account, or sign in to an existing account. 2. Add your shop information, product knowledge and reply rules in the Moustor dashboard. 3. Sign in through the extension settings, or use Connect extension in the dashboard. 4. Open Etsy Messages and select a conversation. Reload the Etsy tab if it was already open when you installed the extension. 5. Optionally type a note in the reply box, then click Draft reply. 6. Review the suggested response, make any edits and press Etsy's Send button yourself. Product import and synchronization are handled separately through the Moustor dashboard's Etsy API integration. The extension does not scrape shop listing grids or import products from Etsy shop pages. Products already available in your Moustor account can still help inform reply drafts. ACCOUNT, CONNECTION AND PLAN REQUIREMENTS Moustor requires a Moustor account, an internet connection and access to Etsy Messages. AI drafting is provided by the Moustor service; it does not run locally or work offline. Free and paid plans are available. Reply allowances and access to service features depend on your plan. The popup shows the usage information supplied for your account, and the dashboard provides plan management. Visit https://moustor.com for current features, availability and pricing. The extension is designed for Etsy's Messages interface on www.etsy.com. Etsy interface changes can affect compatibility. If a control is missing, first reload the page and open the conversation again. HOW THE EXTENSION USES DATA When you request a draft, the extension sends the open conversation, available order details and any note you typed to Moustor. The service uses that context together with relevant shop information and its AI providers to generate the suggestion. Conversation and order content may include personal information, so provide only the context needed to prepare the reply. When you click Send after using a draft, Moustor records feedback about whether the draft was accepted or edited. If you edited it, that feedback can include your final reply text. Requesting another draft can record that the previous suggestion was regenerated. A recorded Send click is feedback about your interaction; the extension does not independently confirm that Etsy delivered the message. The extension stores your Moustor session token and a cached account summary locally in Chrome. It does not save your sign-in password in extension storage. Account requests and drafting requests use the Moustor backend over HTTPS. Pasted attachments use Etsy's upload system. The extension does not send those image files to Moustor. It does not collect your general browsing history or include a browser-based product importer. You can access account-management and deletion controls through your Moustor dashboard. WHY CHROME ASKS FOR SITE ACCESS Moustor needs access to Etsy pages to place the reply tools inside Messages. Etsy can move between pages without a full reload, so the extension is available on www.etsy.com while its composer tools are restricted to supported Messages routes. It uses moustor.com for account and drafting requests, and a connection bridge within the Moustor web app lets you connect the extension from your dashboard. Local storage keeps your account connection available between browser sessions.
