MonteChart for GitHub Projects
Overview
Adds Monte Carlo forecast lines (P50/P85) to GitHub Projects Insights charts
Item introduction MonteChart for GitHub Projects adds Monte Carlo forecast overlays to GitHub Projects Insights burn-up charts. It identifies the Done/Completed series, uses historical chart data to run 2,000 simulations, and displays P50 and P85 forecast lines with estimated dates. It also updates the overlay when the chart is redrawn, resized, or reloaded through GitHub SPA navigation. Benefits after installation - Adds P50 and P85 forecast lines directly on supported GitHub Projects Insights charts. - Shows estimated completion dates for each forecast line in the chart legend. - Works on both organization and user project Insights pages. - Runs automatically on matching Insights URLs after installation. - Uses only the extension’s local storage permission for enable/disable state. 🔗 GitHub https://github.com/chibicco/montechart-for-github-projects 📝 Report an issue https://github.com/chibicco/montechart-for-github-projects/issues
