Your daily AI prompts use water to cool down data centers. Bottle it Back tracks every prompt you make on major AI chat platforms you use on your Chrome browser, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Mistral AI. The plug-in estimates your Water Consumption Footprint based on the water used to cool the servers and electricity required to power data centers, with consumption changing depending on the AI platform, the model, and the prompt length.​ Most importantly, Bottle it Back is the only program that allows you to give back the amount of water you consume to Planet Water Foundation, a non-profit organization providing safe water access to communities in need across 33 countries.​ ​ This plugin is powered by opensource Ecologits to estimate your water footprint.
