Monitoreo QuitoOtobo is an internal tool developed for the Empresa Pública Metropolitana de Transporte de Pasajeros de Quito (EPMTPQ). WHAT IT DOES: • Automatically queries open tickets from the organization's OTOBO helpdesk every 3 minutes, running entirely in the background. • Syncs ticket data (number, status, queue, assignee, station, team) to a Google Sheets spreadsheet via Google Apps Script. • Does not require OTOBO to be open in a browser tab. • Shows monitoring history and status in the extension popup. HOW IT WORKS: 1. The user logs into OTOBO once in Chrome. 2. The extension captures the session token from the page (one-time only). 3. Every 3 minutes, the service worker authenticates automatically and fetches the latest ticket list. 4. Data is sent to the organization's own Google Sheets spreadsheet. PRIVACY: • No personal data is collected. • No browsing history is accessed. • Data is only sent to the organization's own OTOBO server and Google Apps Script endpoint. • All communication is over HTTPS. • The session token expires automatically after 8 hours. This extension is intended for internal institutional use by EPMTPQ staff.
