Free and open source. ♟️ Review modes: • Standard Stockfish - Stockfish 18 with deterministic, rule-based feedback. • Gemini Local AI - Gemini Nano processes Stockfish and board context to generate personalized move explanations. • Switch between AI and Non-AI mode whenever you want. ⚡ Standard Stockfish Mode: • Review the complete game in a single pass. • Uses Stockfish 18 WASM. • Move classifications and best-move suggestions. • Evaluation graph and position changes. • Deterministic feedback based on engine review. • Temporarily caches completed review so reopening a review can load it almost instantly 🍌Gemini Local AI Mode: • Runs Google's Gemini Nano directly inside Chrome. • Stockfish provides the evaluation, best move, and board context first. • That context is passed to Gemini Nano for move-specific explanations. • AI commentary is cached per move to avoid unnecessary repeated generation. • Runs locally through Chrome's Gemini Nano Prompt API. 🔒 Local & Private: • Your game review stays on your device. • No cloud-based AI service is required. • No server-side AI costs. • AI inference happens locally in Chrome. 🎨 Customize your coach: • Choose your own coach image. • Set your own coach name. • Crop, zoom, and reposition your image using the Canvas API. • Settings are stored locally with chrome.storage.local. • Your customization is used across the ChessLIT review UI. • No image hosting or cloud storage required. 🛠️ Built for chess.com: • Works directly inside Chess.com game reviews. • Navigate through moves and inspect the evaluation graph. • Jump between moves while keeping the review synchronized. • Designed around Chess.com's existing review experience. 💻 AI Mode requirements: • Chrome Desktop 138+ • Windows 10/11, macOS 13+, or Linux. • 16GB+ RAM or 4GB+ VRAM with 4+ CPU cores. • Around 4GB for the Gemini Nano download. • At least 22GB free space for Chrome's required headroom. • Internet is required for the initial model download; no internet is required afterward for local inference. Devices that don't meet the Gemini Nano requirements can still use full Standard Stockfish review Non-AI Mode. ⚠️ Accuracy notice: AI commentary may occasionally be imperfect.
