Find & Replace for Text Editing

Carriage returns and spaces

Hello, really like your plugin! question: Is it possible to put in carriage returns/new line and spaces? How about rich text formatting? Carriage returns works in templates, but I they don't seem to work in the search/replace. I've tried <cr> and /n but neither work. Alternatively, is there a way for search/replace use a template as the replacement text?
