Mofi Interceptor

Redirect or block browser requests with rule groups for Dev, QA, UAT and Prod.

Mofi Interceptor redirects or blocks the requests your browser sends, so you can point a live site at code running on your own machine. The usual case: a page loads its scripts from a remote CDN, and you want one of those bundles to come from your local dev server instead. Write a rule once, and the page keeps working exactly as it does in production — except that file is now yours. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Redirect any request to another address, usually your local dev server • Block requests you do not want firing while you debug • Paste a URL from DevTools and let the Generator write the pattern for you • Group rules by environment and toggle a whole group with one switch • Limit a group to a single site with a Site scope • Reorder rules by drag or with the arrow keys — order decides which one wins • Search your rules by name, pattern or destination • See which of your rules actually fired, with a live green marker • Export and import your setup as JSON to share it with your team MATCHING • Contains — the text appears anywhere in the request URL • Starts with — the request URL begins with the text • Matches (RegEx) — a regular expression matches the URL Every * in the pattern captures a piece of the address, and the * in the destination puts those pieces back in the same order. PAGE NAVIGATION IS OPT-IN By default a rule only touches the resources a page loads — scripts, styles, images, API calls. Redirecting the page address itself is a separate checkbox on each rule, off unless you turn it on, so a rule can never quietly send you somewhere you did not ask to go. PRIVACY The extension has no backend and makes no network requests of its own. It collects nothing, transmits nothing, and contains no analytics. Your rules are stored only on your own device. Site access is off after install and is granted by you, from the Settings screen, whenever you are ready. HOW IT WORKS Rules are compiled into Chrome's built-in declarativeNetRequest engine. The extension never reads your requests or page content — it hands the rules to Chrome, and Chrome enforces them.
