BankTCG puts the real market price of a card next to the price the seller is asking. It works on every eBay listing and search page, for Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering and One Piece. ON A LISTING Open any card listing on eBay and a panel appears beside the price. Free • Market price — the median of recent sold listings for that card, at that grade. • Deal call — Steal, Great Deal, Good Deal, Fair Price or Above Market, based on how far the asking price sits from that median. With BankTCG Legendary • 90-day price history — a sparkline of the sales behind the number, so you can tell a card that has been climbing from one that spiked once. • Recent sales — the individual sold prices and dates that make up the median. • Add to portfolio — one click saves the card to your BankTCG portfolio, matched to the right set, number and grade, and synced to the iPhone and Android app. ON SEARCH RESULTS Deal badges appear on the results themselves, so you can see which listings are worth opening before you open them. WHERE IT WORKS 14 eBay sites: US, UK, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland and Poland. Prices are read in the site's own currency and compared against sold comps in the same money, so an AU$ asking price is never judged against a US$ median at face value. WHAT YOU NEED A free BankTCG account. It is the same account as the BankTCG app, so anything you add from the browser is in your pocket. Market price, deal calls and search badges are free. Price history, recent sales, portfolio, the scanner and alerts are part of BankTCG Legendary, the same subscription as in the app. HOW THE PRICES ARE WORKED OUT Market price is the median of eBay sold listings that match the card, its number and its grade. Comps naming a different card number are discarded, graded comps must name the same grade, and a comp that describes a different printing — Japanese where the listing is not, unlimited where the listing says 1st Edition — is discarded too. The window is the last 90 days, widening to 180 or 365 days for cards that trade rarely, because three sales in a year still deserve a price. These are estimates built from public sold listings.
