ModeGuide is a Chrome extension that analyzes your unsent ChatGPT draft locally and suggests a suitable model and reasoning level for the current task. Key features - Recommends both a model and a reasoning level - Supports quality, balanced, and saving priorities - Considers your remaining weekly allowance and attachment workload - Recommends the closest available alternative when a setting is unavailable - Switches settings only after an explicit click and verifies the visible selection - Supports English and Japanese Privacy ModeGuide reads the draft only when you click Check setting. It does not store or transmit drafts, recent context, or recommendation results. For an ambiguous continuation request, it temporarily uses recent visible context only after you explicitly choose that option. It does not read attachment contents. ModeGuide is a public beta.
