Add noise to your ad profile: visit random-topic sites in the background so trackers can't tell what you're into.

ChameleonID camouflages your advertising interest profile. Free, with no limits. Ad trackers infer what you like from the sites you visit. ChameleonID adds noise to that profile: it visits sites about topics that have nothing to do with you (gardening, cooking, finance, sports, cars…), so your real profile gets diluted among fake interests. HOW IT WORKS • Click “Turn on Chameleon Mode”, or turn on automatic mode and choose how often (from every 3 h to once a day). • A minimized window opens with muted tabs pointing to the home pages of random-topic sites. Each batch closes by itself after 30 seconds. • Choose the intensity: light (4 sites), normal (8) or strong (12). Watch the progress on the icon and stop it whenever you want. • The popup shows which interests ChameleonID simulated today. TRANSPARENCY • It never clicks ads or interacts with pages: it only opens and closes them. • At most 6 sessions per day. • You choose the topics and can see the list of sites it opened. PRIVACY • It doesn't read your history or the pages you visit. • Everything is stored in your browser. We have no servers and send no data. • Because those sites are visited from your browser, they and their ad partners receive the visit with your IP and their cookies — that's exactly what dilutes your profile.
