Krill: Hangar Tools for Star Citizen
Overview
Adds a fleet panel to the RSI website. Find duplicate ships, plan melts and CCU upgrades, and see what your hangar is worth.
Krill adds a panel to the Roberts Space Industries website that reads your hangar and shows your whole fleet in one place. Open it from the Krill bar on the right edge of any RSI page. NEW IN 0.10 • Loadouts (Tools): build a ship's loadout from the game files and compare it. Swap guns, missiles, shields, power plants, coolers, quantum drives, radars and mining gear with parts that really fit. Each picker has a chart (guns by damage and reach, shields by HP and recovery, missiles by what they lock onto, and so on), sortable columns, and why a part has no shop. Start from stock, a ready-made loadout for the ship's role, or your own saved ones, and compare up to four loadouts or ships side by side. • Add a loadout's parts to your Supply run, and Krill plans the trip to buy them. • Extras: Achievements, Roulette, Bingo and Notes have their own plate. Settings opens from the gear button at the top. • A camera in every popup, for a picture of just that popup. NEW IN 0.9.2 • Supply run (Tools): make a shopping list of anything sold in the game, and Krill finds the shortest trip from where you are. Stops are grouped by place and shop, with distances, system jumps through the gateways, amounts, your own stops, and a tick for each thing as you go. • Collection, redesigned: every section opens like a card. Weapons and clothing hang on a pegboard with pictures (yours, or the Star Citizen Wiki's), skins and colours are dots, and the trophy case has a centrepiece. • Fleet: Roles, Timeline and Insurance with coloured bars and a summary card each, plus your next three pledge anniversaries. • Fixes: subscriber flair counts the monthly flair (not Subscribers Store purchases), paints take less room, and name tags line up on the Value page. NEW IN 0.9.1 • Ships: click a ship to see everything in its pledge right under it, with pictures. • Camera button at the top of the panel: copies a picture of Krill to your clipboard, ready to paste into Discord. • Pledges filters in three rows (type, what's inside, conditions), each one with or without, so you can find paints sold on their own or packs without LTI. • Fixes: filter chips keep their place and always show how many pledges have that thing, and the saved / paid-over line leaves out packs where armor, weapons or modules were part of the price. NEW IN 0.9 • Pledges: your whole hangar pledge by pledge, with what's inside, what it's worth today, what you saved, and whether you can melt or gift it. Filter by type and conditions (ships without LTI, giftable packs), sort by several columns, and jump to any pledge on RSI's hangar page. • Collection, rebuilt: weapon racks, a wardrobe and armor sets, each showing what you own, what you're missing, or everything. Search shows matches from every section on one page. • Melt planner: save plans in folders and load them back later (Krill checks what changed), export and import them, and plan for ships that aren't on sale yet. • Switches for every kind of notification in Tools › Settings. • The panel stays out of the way of RSI's account menu and moves with the site's header. • Fixes: better ship matching (special editions, Ursa Fortuna, Ballista Snowblind, the Mk V's Skylark), upgrade history in the right order, and fairer value comparisons. NEW IN 0.8.1 • Tools › Settings with a debug file: saves what Krill read from your hangar so you can check it and send it with a bug report. Pledge numbers, ship names, serials and coupon codes are left out. • No more close button: the panel is docked, or tucks into the bar on the right edge. Click the bar to get back to where you were. • The floating panel and the bar now sit under RSI's header, so the site's navigation stays in view. • Fixes: items RSI lists by name only (paints, armor, suits, bobbleheads) are sorted properly, CitizenCon items match the game's names, and buy-back achievements say to scan first. NEW IN 0.8 • Ship parts: modules, pods, weapon kits and ship guns, each under the ship it fits. • Series: ship models, plants, coins, posters, Puglisi pieces and more as shelves, with what's missing where the game files list the whole set. • Model fleet: your ship models next to the real ships. • RSI's own picture for every item in Collection. • Gone for good: before a melt, Krill names the one-off items you'd lose, like trophies, Best in Show rewards and referral items. • What your gear would cost in the game's shops. • Fixes: decorations no longer show up as armor, items RSI lists by name only are counted, and Ships fits narrow panels. NEW IN 0.7.1 • Pledge numbers and serials are blurred, handy for screenshots and streams. Click one to show them all. • Fix: Ships no longer shows a sale price for ships the store only sells in packages (like the 600i Explorer). NEW IN 0.7 • Collection: every paint, armor piece, weapon and decoration you own, next to everything that exists in the game. Event shelves, a trophy case, your subscriber flair by month, and a "Do I own it?" box that also checks a pasted pack list. • Hauling: the best trade runs for a full hold of each of your cargo ships. • How do I get this ship?: the cheapest upgrade, a melt, or the in-game price, side by side. • The upgrade planner uses upgrades in your buy-back list, and a new alert tells you about deals you can use. • A new menu (Hangar, Store, Tools), a glossary of the jargon, and a "Since you were last here" summary. • Ships shows today's sale prices, in-game rent, and the snubs and rovers that come with your ships. • Fixes: buy-back now lists upgrades, and big hangars are much faster. What you get: SHIPS Every ship and vehicle you own, with pictures, roles and insurance. You see what you paid for each pledge next to what the ship costs on RSI today, including sales. Filter by LTI, meltable, giftable, warbond, named ships and more. PLEDGES Your hangar the way RSI keeps it, one card per pledge: what's inside, its value, its ships at today's price, its in-game worth, and whether you can melt or gift it. Combine filters (ships without LTI, giftable packs with paints), sort by several columns, and jump to any pledge on RSI's hangar page. COLLECTION Paints per ship, owned and missing, with where each one comes from: an event, the subscriber store, a pledge, or a shop in the game. Armor sets with the pieces you're missing, weapon racks, a wardrobe, ship parts, decorations and flair, each showing what you own, what you're missing, or everything. One search covers it all. DUPLICATES Ships, paints and items you own more than once. For each one, Krill says which copy to keep and why. Ships with LTI or a custom name are kept, and so are pledges that come with game access. MELT PLANNER Pick a ship you want, even one that isn't on sale yet, and add pledges until the credit covers it. Before you melt anything, it warns you about what you would lose: LTI, custom names, applied upgrades, warbond pricing, Squadron 42. Save plans in folders and load them back later. UPGRADES Finds the cheapest CCU chain to the ship you want, using the upgrades you already own, the ones in your buy-back list, and RSI's current warbond deals. Prices include your local tax, the same way RSI shows them. LOADOUTS Build a ship's loadout from the game files: swap guns, missiles, shields, power plants, coolers, quantum drives, radars and mining gear with parts that really fit, picked on a chart that shows the trade-offs. Start from stock, a ready-made loadout for the ship's role, or one you saved, and compare up to four loadouts or ships side by side. SUPPLY RUN A shopping list for anything sold in the game, including a loadout's parts. Krill picks the shops and the shortest trip from where you are, place by place, with the jumps between systems. HAULING Pick one of your cargo ships and see the best buy-here, sell-there runs for a full hold, with how old each price is. ALSO Upgrade history, buy-back pledges, a wishlist with sale alerts, your subscriber coupons, achievements, a hangar roulette for picking tonight's ship, citizen bingo for streams, and notes. Everything can be exported as CSV. Krill is read-only. It never melts, gifts, buys or applies anything, and it never asks for your password. Your hangar data stays in your browser and is not sent anywhere. It spaces out its requests so it doesn't put load on anyone's site. Money totals can be blurred, so you can keep it open on stream. Ship values come from RSI. In-game prices, trade prices, ship roles and the item list come from UEX (uexcorp.space); paint families and events from the Star Citizen Wiki (star-citizen.wiki); ship and part stats for Loadouts from the game files, served by Krill's own data server (api.scbellhop.com).
