RealSearchPro - Block Sponsored Search Results

Protects against malvertising and phishing attacks by blocking sponsored search results on Google Search.

RealSearchPro removes sponsored search results on Google Search so you only see real, organic links. Why we built this: Search ads aren't just clutter, they are one of the most common ways people get tricked into downloading malware or visiting phishing sites. Attackers regularly buy top "Sponsored" placements for everyday searches like developer tools (e.g., Homebrew, CLI utilities), password managers, banking portals, and crypto exchanges. Because these sponsored links sit above the real website, it only takes one rushed click to install a compromised package or land on a fake login page. RealSearchPro removes those sponsored placements from the page before you can see or click them. What RealSearchPro does: • Removes Sponsored Search Results: Automatically strips top, bottom, and sidebar sponsored placements from Google Search results. • Zero Flash on Page Load: Hides sponsored links the instant a search page starts loading so you never accidentally click an ad that shifts into place. • Clear Activity Dashboard: See how many sponsored results were blocked today, over the last 7 days, over the last 30 days, and all-time. • Top Blocked Domains (Rolling 30 Days): Shows which advertiser domains were intercepted most frequently on your searches over the past month. • One-Click Pause & Resume: Need to check a paid search campaign? Toggle protection off and back on anytime from the toolbar popup. • Dark & Light Mode: Adapts automatically to your system theme. Privacy & Transparency: • 100% Local: All counters and domain stats are stored locally in your browser. Nothing is ever sent to any external server. • Minimal Permissions: Only uses local storage and runs strictly on Google Search pages. • 100% Open-Source: You can inspect the complete source code on GitHub at https://github.com/VishwaGauravIn/real-search-pro
