Mamo Check-in helps Monash Malaysia students collect attendance codes from their own Gmail and Moodle course sources and submit them to matching attendance sessions. FEATURES • Verify and save your school email and Attendance name. • Choose Gmail, Moodle, or both as attendance-code sources for each course. • Enter a Moodle course ID or paste the full course URL. • Recognize text and images locally using Apple Vision on macOS or Tesseract on Windows. • Review course schedules, attendance records, and submission results. • Copy attendance codes and export records as CSV. • Start checks manually or enable optional scheduled checks. • Use the interface in English or Chinese. REQUIREMENTS Chrome 120 or later on macOS 12+ or Windows 10/11 x64. A separate local OCR companion must be installed on your computer. Windows also requires Tesseract OCR. The extension provides setup instructions after installation. A valid, authorized Monash Malaysia school account is required. You must complete Google and school sign-in, including any required multi-factor authentication, yourself. HOW IT WORKS Configure your school identity and course sources, then click Check in now to start a check. Sign in and verify only verifies and saves your identity; it does not start attendance submission. Optional scheduled checks require Chrome to remain running and your computer to be awake. An existing check waiting for login may continue after you complete sign-in. Only matching sessions from the last seven days that remain open on the school website are eligible. Uncertain results require review rather than being treated as successful attendance. PRIVACY OCR is performed locally on your computer. Settings and attendance records are stored locally. The extension accesses Gmail and school websites as needed to provide its features. It does not send your email or course data to a developer-operated analytics service, advertising service, or third-party AI provider. Successful submission is not guaranteed. This tool does not establish physical attendance. Use it only for your own legitimate attendance and where permitted by your institution.
