Overview
Preview what is inside a ZIP download link, then open it in ZIP Extractor.
See what is inside a ZIP archive before extracting it. Right-click a direct download link and choose “Open with ZIP Extractor,” or click the extension icon and paste a link. The extension downloads the archive and displays a preview with: * File and folder names. * File and folder counts. * Declared uncompressed sizes. * Indicators for entries marked as encrypted. The preview is generated on your device without opening the ZIP Extractor website. Nothing is extracted or saved to your Downloads folder during the preview. When you are ready to extract files, click “Open in ZIP Extractor.” The downloaded archive is passed directly to the web application at zipextractor.app in a new tab, where you choose which files to extract. You do not need to download the archive again or select it from your computer. This version supports public, direct HTTPS ZIP downloads up to 50 MiB. Links that require sign-in or redirect to another address are not supported. Archives with encrypted file lists cannot be previewed. The extension requests permission to access the selected download site when needed, after you choose to preview a link.
