Study Buddy AI is a side panel assistant that helps you understand what you read. Highlight text on any page, right-click, and get a concise explanation powered by the AI API endpoint you configure. Key features: - Side panel chat with multiple saved chats - Highlight text -> right-click -> send to Study Buddy AI - Optional image attachments for vision-capable models - Optional text-to-speech playback - Optional voice input via speech-to-text Data usage: Study Buddy AI sends your selected text, prompts, optional images, and optional audio (if enabled) to the API endpoints you configure (LLM/TTS/STT). Settings and chat history are stored locally in Chrome storage. The extension does not run its own servers. API keys are stored locally in encrypted form and require a user passphrase to unlock. Data usage: Study Buddy AI does not run any servers, collect analytics, or use crash reporting. All settings, chat history, and encrypted API keys are stored locally on your device.
