Overview

A calm dark Chrome theme in deep ocean navy and teal, lit by soft aqua, seafoam and luminous pearl highlights.

MM Ocean Pearl brings the quiet of deep water to your browser. The theme is built around a single idea: a pearl resting far below the surface, catching what little light reaches it. Deep navy and ocean teal carry the browser frame, tabs and toolbar, while soft aqua, pale seafoam and warm pearl highlights pick out the text and edges you actually need to read. A palette drawn from the deep The interface sits in midnight navy and blue-green water. Tab labels, bookmark names and omnibox text are set in pearl white and pale aqua, so they stay comfortable to read against the dark surfaces at any time of day. Iridescent lavender, cyan and pale rose appear only as faint reflections on the pearl in the New Tab artwork, never as bright colour across the interface. What the theme changes MM Ocean Pearl is a Chrome theme, so it changes how Chrome looks and nothing else. Installing it restyles the browser frame, the tab strip, the toolbar, the bookmarks bar, the omnibox, button surfaces and the New Tab page, which gets an original ocean background with a luminous pearl placed away from your shortcuts and search box. Your extensions, settings, history and browsing behaviour are untouched, and you can switch back to the default appearance at any time from Chrome's Appearance settings. A cohesive dark interface Dark themes often leave one surface out of step with the rest — a pale toolbar under a dark frame, or grey text that disappears on a busy wallpaper. Every colour here was chosen as part of one system and checked numerically for contrast, so the frame, toolbar, tabs, bookmarks bar and New Tab page read as a single piece. The background artwork keeps its detail to the lower right and leaves the centre of the New Tab page calm, so shortcuts and the search box stay clear. Who it is for People who like ocean colours, sea imagery and quiet dark interfaces. If you keep a lot of tabs open, work in the evening, or simply prefer a browser that stays out of the way, this theme was designed for that kind of day. Why choose it over the default Chrome's default dark appearance is neutral by design. MM Ocean Pearl gives the same comfort with a point of view: a recognisable palette, a considered New Tab composition and a calm atmosphere you notice without being distracted by it. Install MM Ocean Pearl and let your browser settle into the deep. Published by MM Web — https://mmweb.net
