Slack Channel Exporter
Overview
Export Slack channel messages and replies by date, with optional downloaded attachments.
Export the Slack web channel you have open as readable Markdown, with thread replies beneath their parent messages. Choose a date range or leave the dates blank to capture available history. Enable Include attachments to download supported files directly from Slack and save them with the transcript in a ZIP. Attachment access is optional and limited to files.slack.com. Failed file downloads stop ZIP creation and show an error. The exporter checks available history boundaries, overlapping scroll windows and exposed reply counts. Incomplete captures retain their warnings in the exported transcript. A completed download does not mean every message was captured. Processing happens locally in your browser. There is no analytics, telemetry or exporter backend. Optional attachment requests contact Slack using your existing browser session. Keep Slack open during export; capture can mark messages read and does not restore your previous scroll position. Requires access to a supported Slack web channel. Deleted messages, inaccessible history and every specialised Slack content type are not covered. Independent extension by aipieksel, not affiliated with Slack or Salesforce.
