MyIP
Overview
Shows your current public IP with location and ISP, and keeps a history of the previous 3 IPs used by the browser.
MyIP shows your current public IP address the moment you open it — along with the ISP, country, region, city, timezone, and the local time for that location. It also keeps a tidy history of the last 3 IP addresses your browser has used, so you can see when each one was active and for how long. Perfect for anyone using a VPN or proxy, working remotely, troubleshooting a network, or who simply likes to keep an eye on their connection. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT YOU SEE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Your current public IP address, front and center • ISP / organization behind the IP • Country, region/state, and city • Timezone and the current local time for that location • How long your current IP has been active (updates live) • Your previous 3 IP addresses — each with its provider, location, exact active period, and total duration ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ AUTOMATIC IP TRACKING ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ MyIP checks your public IP in the background about once an hour. When your IP changes — for example when you switch a VPN server on or off — it automatically: • Closes the previous session and records how long it lasted • Moves it into your history • Sets the new IP as current • Keeps only your 3 most recent addresses You can also press Refresh any time for an instant check. The connection start time is remembered, so your "active duration" keeps counting even after you close and reopen the popup. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVATE BY DESIGN ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • All data is stored locally on your device only. • Nothing is ever sent to the developer — there is no account, no server, no analytics, and no tracking. • MyIP does not read your browsing history, URLs, tabs, or page content. • It requests only the minimum permissions it needs. • The only external service contacted is the IP-lookup API (ipwho.is), which by nature receives the request's IP in order to return its details. Nothing else is shared. Full privacy policy: https://nat3-lab.github.io/myip-privacy/ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Storage — saves your current IP and history on your device so it persists. • Alarms — runs the periodic hourly IP check in the background. • Access to ipwho.is — the single endpoint used to look up IP details. No other website is accessed. Lightweight, fast, and focused on one job: showing you your IP and how it changes over time.
