Overview
RudderStack Assistant - Debug your RudderStack JavaScript SDK (events, destinations, plugins, user state) in Chrome and Firefox
The Chrome + Firefox MV3 debugger built for the RudderStack JavaScript SDK. Open it on any page and see your events stream in real-time, validate destination + plugin loading, and inspect the user, session, and storage state the SDK has persisted — without changing a line of code. ✓ REAL-TIME EVENT MONITORING See every event the SDK fires (track, identify, page, group, alias) with full payloads, request status, and per-tab preserve-log across navigations — so multi-page checkout and signup flows stay debuggable. ✓ DEVICE-MODE DESTINATION + PLUGIN STATUS Loaded, failed, and filtered destinations are surfaced inline with error details. Plugin load state too. ✓ PERSISTED SDK STATE INSPECTION User ID, anonymous ID, traits, session ID, page context — and the storage backend each piece lives in (localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, memory). Debug identity and session bugs in one place. ✓ SDK INJECTION No SDK on the page yet? Inject one with a custom write key + dataplane URL to test tracking on any site before you ship. ✓ DEBUG DATA EXPORT One-click clipboard copy or JSON file export of SDK state + captured events. Drop straight into a support ticket. ✓ CHROME + FIREFOX MV3 Same codebase, both browsers, actively maintained builds. All data stays local in your browser; nothing is sent to RudderStack.
