ViralVault scores every TikTok and YouTube Short TWO ways — Creator Score (vs the creator's own baseline) and Niche Score (vs the entire niche) — so you can spot formats the algorithm is genuinely rewarding, not just high view counts. WHAT IT DOES This extension overlays a compact dual-score chip on the top-left corner of every video card as you browse tiktok.com or youtube.com/shorts. Creator Score (purple) tells you if this video beat the creator's typical performance; Niche Score (teal) tells you if the format is winning across the whole category. When both are elevated — a Dual High — the chip is gold-outlined, signalling the strongest possible format signal. Color-coded tiers at a glance: • MEGA (1000+) — rainbow gradient • Viral (500–999) — pink/orange • Outlier (300–499) — pink/violet • Performing (150–299) — indigo • Average (under 150) — neutral gray The score is computed by ViralVault's backend from real TikTok and YouTube metrics. The extension never modifies the page beyond adding the overlay chips — the platform's UI, recommendations, and behavior stay exactly as they were.
