Overview

Count multiple custom categories and combine their subtotals automatically. Data stays in your browser.

BatchTally is a simple counter for repetitive tasks involving multiple item types. Create up to five custom categories and set a quantity per action for each one. BatchTally multiplies each category’s count by its quantity per action, then adds all category subtotals into one grand total. Why use BatchTally? - Count up to five custom categories independently - Set a different quantity per action for each category - Automatically calculate category subtotals and the grand total - Correct a category’s current count by entering a number directly - Reorder categories using drag-and-drop or move buttons - Quickly increase, decrease, or reset counts - Review up to seven days of local action history - Load older history entries when needed - Display an optional draggable floating counter on the current webpage - Switch between full and compact display modes - Switch the active category directly in compact mode - Optionally fade the floating counter when it is idle - Use an English or Traditional Chinese interface, selected automatically based on your Chrome interface language - Get started without an account, ads, or analytics How does the total work? For example, if one category has a quantity per action of 12 and a current count of 3, its subtotal is 36. BatchTally automatically adds this subtotal to those of your other categories. Your data stays in your browser Category names, counts, quantities, settings, history, and display preferences are stored locally in your current Chrome browser profile. BatchTally does not transmit this data to external servers or sync it across devices. You control the floating counter The floating counter appears only when you explicitly request it for the current tab. After refreshing the page, open it again when needed. Chrome internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, and some protected pages do not support the floating counter. BatchTally does not read webpage content, collect browsing history, or request permanent access to websites. It makes no network requests and runs no remote code.
