Mixdown for Mixamo downloads your Mixamo animations and characters in bulk. It drives the Mixamo catalog page for you, so you do not click Download thousands of times. WHAT IT DOES • Downloads every animation, animation pack or character in the catalog, or all of them in one run. • Opens 1 to 8 worker tabs. Each tab sweeps its own slice of the catalog. • Saves each export as Name__hash.fbx with a matching Name__hash.gif preview. Same-named items never collide. • Keeps a progress ledger. Close the popup, the tabs or the browser: start again and it continues where it stopped. • Tracks failed items and retries only those. • Shows live progress in the popup and on the toolbar badge. Sends one notification when the run finishes. • Uses your Mixamo export settings: format (FBX Binary, FBX ASCII, Collada), frames per second, keyframe reduction, skin, in place, pose and page range. HOW TO USE 1. Sign in at mixamo.com. 2. Click the Mixdown icon. Pick Animations, Characters or Everything. 3. Click Start. Choose a folder inside Downloads and the number of parallel tabs. Confirm. 4. Close the popup. The run continues in the background. BEFORE THE FIRST RUN • In chrome://settings/downloads, turn off "Ask where to save each file before downloading". • Allow multiple automatic downloads for mixamo.com when Chrome asks. PRIVACY Mixdown runs only on mixamo.com. It stores your settings and progress on your computer. It does not collect, send or sell any data. It does not touch your Adobe credentials; it works through the Mixamo page you are already signed in to. Mixdown is an independent tool.
