Overview
MiWay cleans eBay item URLs and adds optional accessibility aids after user opt-in.
MiWay is a lightweight Chrome extension designed to make browsing eBay smoother, safer, and more accessible. Key features Removes tracking parameters: Item URLs are automatically cleaned so only the product number remains in the address bar. This reduces clutter and improves privacy. Accessibility aids: Optional visual enhancements such as clearer focus rings and larger hit targets help keyboard and low‑vision users navigate item pages more easily. Explicit opt‑in: MiWay only activates after you enable it in the popup interface. Your choice is saved, so the extension remains enabled until you disable it. Single refresh only: When you opt in, your current tab refreshes once to initialize automation. After that, MiWay never reloads pages while you’re selecting item specifics like color or size. Multi‑domain support: Works across major eBay sites including .com, .co.uk, .com.au, .ca, .de, .fr, .it, and .es. Privacy‑friendly: MiWay does not collect or transmit personal data. All processing happens locally in your browser. Why install MiWay? If you shop on eBay regularly, you’ve seen long, messy URLs filled with tracking codes. MiWay simplifies those links, making them cleaner to share and easier to revisit. At the same time, it adds subtle accessibility improvements that benefit anyone who prefers keyboard navigation or clearer visual cues. MiWay is built with Chrome Web Store compliance in mind: minimal permissions, no remote code, and transparent privacy and accessibility policies included in the extension package.
