Overview

Warns when the Mist switch page you have open was modified by someone else, so you don't overwrite their changes on Save.

Mist Stale Check protects teams that share a Juniper Mist dashboard from silently overwriting each other's changes. The problem: the Mist dashboard keeps a copy of the page you're viewing. If a colleague edits the same switch or setting while your tab sits open, and you later click Save, your stale copy replaces their work — with no warning from the dashboard. What this extension does: • Watches the switch detail, switch configuration, and organization settings pages • Quietly re-checks the object you're viewing against the Mist API — when you return to the tab, when you click Save (before you confirm), and on a timer you control • Shows a clear red banner the moment someone else's change is detected, listing what changed, with one-click Refresh Click the toolbar icon to choose how often it checks (30 seconds to 5 minutes). Privacy and safety: • Read-only — it only ever sends GET requests, using your existing Mist session; it never modifies anything • No data collection — nothing leaves your browser except requests to Mist's own API • Works on all Mist clouds, including GovCloud (mist-federal.com) Note: this extension warns, it does not block. A change made in the last moments before you confirm a save can still go undetected. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Juniper Networks.
