Full description: Miqaat replaces your new tab with a clean, immersive Islamic experience built around the five daily prayers. Every time you open a new tab, you're greeted with a dynamic sky that shifts with the actual time of day, your next prayer and a live countdown, and a daily Quran verse — all tailored to your exact location. Prayer Times Accurate prayer times calculated directly from your coordinates using the Aladhan API. Supports all major calculation methods (MWL, ISNA, Egypt, Makkah, Karachi, and more). Times update automatically every day. Live Athan & Iqamah Alerts Get a browser notification at every prayer time with an optional audio alert. Upload your own custom Athan or Iqamah audio, or use the built-in silent notification. Set an Iqamah delay of your choice. Alerts are handled by a background service worker so they fire even when the tab is closed. Qibla Direction Tap the compass needle to get your precise Qibla bearing from your current location. Dhikr Counter A built-in tasbih counter for your daily dhikr, with cycling through multiple adhkar. Duas & Adhkar Library A curated collection of authentic morning and evening adhkar with Arabic text, transliteration, and English meaning — all sourced from the Sunnah. Ramadan Mode During Ramadan, a banner automatically appears showing your Suhoor deadline (Fajr) and Iftar time (Maghrib) for the day. Quran Verse A different verse every day, shown in Arabic with transliteration and English translation. Sourced from a hand-picked library of 63 ayat across eight thematic categories. Hijri Date Always shows the current Islamic date alongside the Gregorian date. Minimal Mode A distraction-free floating widget that shows just the essential prayer info over whatever wallpaper you set — great for productivity. Custom Accent Color Six preset color swatches plus a full color picker so the UI matches your taste. Privacy Miqaat runs entirely locally. Your location is used only to calculate prayer times and is never sent anywhere other than the open-source Aladhan and OpenStreetMap APIs. No accounts, no tracking, no ads.
