Miniflux Companion

Shows Miniflux unread count in the toolbar badge.

Miniflux RSS Companion is a lightweight Chrome/Chromium extension that displays the unread item count from your Miniflux server in the toolbar badge. Clicking the extension icon opens or focuses an existing Miniflux tab. The extension does not modify Miniflux pages or provide a built-in reader. It is a fully independent Manifest V3 implementation designed for modern Chromium-based browsers. Clicking the toolbar icon may optionally trigger an immediate counter refresh, depending on settings. The extension does not inject content, sync reading state, or act as a reader — it only updates the badge and opens Miniflux.
