Mini Downloader Connector links Chrome to the free & open-source Mini Downloader desktop app (Linux & Windows). What it does - Intercepts file downloads and sends them to the app, preserving cookies, referer and user-agent — so authenticated downloads just work - Detects streaming media (HLS/DASH) on the page and lets you grab video via yt-dlp - Right-click any link → "Download with Mini Downloader" - Per-site disable list and minimum-size threshold in the options Why The desktop app downloads with up to 16 connections per file (aria2 engine), resumes broken transfers, handles torrents/magnets/metalinks, schedules downloads and auto-organizes finished files. The extension is the missing bridge from your browser. Requires the desktop app (free, GPL): https://github.com/RamazanBerk20/mini-downloader Without it the extension does nothing — install the app first; it registers the native-messaging bridge automatically. Privacy: no data is collected or transmitted anywhere. Everything stays between your browser and the app on your own machine. Available in 10 languages.
