You are reading an article, you hit a word you do not know, and that is usually where it ends. By the time you have switched over to an application, you have lost the sentence the word was in — and that sentence is the part you would have remembered. MindDory removes that step. Select a word or a piece of a sentence and the translation appears right at your selection. If you want a card out of it, that is one click, and you stay on the page. WHAT IT DOES • Select text and the translation shows up at the selection, not in another panel. • One click makes a card in MindDory, in the folder you choose. • It recognises which language the text is in and offers the direction that makes sense. • It shows the whole sentence around your selection, so you see the context, not a bare word. • A word with several meanings: you pick the one that is actually there. • "Check" — select a sentence you are writing yourself and the bubble tells you what is wrong with it, and one click puts the corrected sentence back into the field. • "Say it fluently" — the same sentence the way someone who speaks the language would put it. In both, only the words that actually change are highlighted, so you see the difference instead of reading the sentence twice. • A per-site off switch. A page where you do not want it simply does not get it. WHAT IT WILL NOT TOUCH Passwords, one-time codes, card numbers, and everything around them. That guard runs before anything else — in a field like that the text is not even read. No bubble, no sending, no memory. WHAT YOU NEED A MindDory account (free).
