Overview
Empowers users with limited mobility to navigate and interact with the web using facial gestures and voice commands.
We have developed a Chrome extension to improve web accessibility for individuals with severe illnesses, disabilities, and the elderly who have limited hand mobility. Traditional web environments rely heavily on mouse and keyboard input, which can be highly inconvenient for these users. However, our solution allows users to navigate and control webpages using only eye movements and voice commands. By tracking eye movements, users can move a virtual mouse cursor, click, and scroll. Additionally, voice commands are processed through Gemini, enabling intuitive interaction with webpages and their features. Our solution requires no complex installation or expensive assistive devices, making it easily accessible to anyone. As a result, we expect a significant improvement in the autonomy and internet accessibility of users with limited mobility.
