Hide Favicons not working

I can't get it to work. I click on it to activate it and remove favicon clutter and it takes me to the extension download page in the Chrome Webstore. I am doing something wrong.

Does also hide "ad" ?

Does it also hide the Ad icon now in the same position as the favicon or does it remain?
