Midnight Editor for Medium

Dark mode for the Medium story editor, where Medium's own dark theme doesn't apply.

Medium has a dark mode, but it stops at the editor. The moment you start writing, you're back to a bright white page. Midnight Editor for Medium fixes that. Open the story editor and it turns dark right away, so you can write late at night without the glare. What it does: • Dark background and soft light text while you write • Styled titles, subtitles, headings, quotes, lists and links • Dark code blocks with syntax colors • Dark top bar, "+" menu, tips drawer and notifications popover • On/off switch in the toolbar popup; your choice is remembered It only changes how the editor looks. Reading pages are left alone, so Medium's own dark mode keeps working there. Privacy: no data is collected, no network requests are made, and nothing you write is read or changed.
