Talk instead of typing. Click any text field in Chrome, press Alt+S and speak: MicWrite types your words at the cursor as you talk, in email, documents, chat and web forms. Dictation in any text field • Works in ordinary input boxes and rich editors, including Google Docs • One shortcut: press Alt+S to start and again to stop (Control+S on Mac) • A small bar at the bottom of the page shows when it is listening • Say "new line" or "new paragraph" to break lines • Stops by itself after a pause, so the microphone is never left on Speak one language, write in another • Translate mode puts the translation straight into the page • Over 60 languages, with automatic punctuation • Conversation mode translates both sides of a two-language exchange Live transcript in the side panel • Your words appear in Chrome's side panel as you speak, with speaker labels • Add tab audio to capture a call or video playing in the tab • Copy it, export it as TXT, Markdown, SRT, VTT or JSON, or insert it into the page AI notes • Summarize, fix grammar, make it clearer, change the tone or rewrite it • Insert the result or save it as a note; your original transcript is never changed Your account on every device • Save what you dictate and find it again on the web, desktop and mobile apps • Search your history from the side panel Privacy • Audio is streamed for processing and never stored • Only the text field you are writing in is used; the rest of the page and your browsing history are not read • Nothing is saved to your account unless you choose to save it
