Overview

Replace your new tab with a mindful journaling prompt. Add sticky notes on any page. Export your work log as CSV.

Micro-Journal — Your Mindful Work Log Every time you open a new tab, instead of a search bar, you see a clean prompt: "What are you working on right now?" It takes 5 seconds to answer, and by the end of the day you have a complete, timestamped work log — perfect for stand-ups, timesheets, and personal reflection. ✍️ Instant Journaling • Beautiful dark-mode interface with a single-purpose text area • Entries are timestamped and saved automatically • Ctrl+Enter shortcut for fast logging • Journal history filtered to today by default — click "Show All" to browse past entries ⏱ Pomodoro Focus Timer • Built-in 25-minute countdown timer with a visual progress ring • Play, pause, and reset controls • "Log Time" button stamps elapsed minutes directly onto your latest journal entry • Audio + notification alert when the timer completes 📌 Context-Sticky Notes • A floating note widget appears on every web page you visit • Jot a quick note about the page you're reading — it saves to your journal with the page URL • Notes appear in your history with a clickable link badge, so you always know the context ⏳ Time Tracking • Every entry has an editable duration badge — click to type how many minutes you spent • Use the Pomodoro "Log" button to automatically record focused work time • Durations display as "25m", "1h 30m", etc. 📤 Flexible Export • Download your full journal as a CSV file (Timestamp, Entry, Duration, URL, Source) • Send to Gmail with the CSV attached to an email • Upload directly to Google Drive • Gmail & Drive require a one-time Google OAuth setup via the Settings panel ⚙️ Configurable • Choose to show the journal on new tabs, from the toolbar icon, or both • Toggle switches in the Settings panel — works exactly how you want it • Google Client ID is configured once in settings (no manifest editing needed) Privacy First • All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API • No external servers, no analytics, no tracking • Your journal never leaves your machine unless you explicitly export it Permissions explained: • Storage — Save your journal entries locally • ActiveTab — Enable sticky notes on the current page • Identity — Google login for optional Gmail/Drive export
