Overview
Interactive year-at-a-glance calendar for visual time planning
YearMap brings a clean year-at-a-glance calendar to Chrome so you can see, mark, share, and plan the whole year on one screen. Use it for travel, school schedules, family plans, projects, events, habits, or any other date ranges you want to see in context. Click and drag across dates, assign ranges to color-coded categories, add short notes, share a read-only YearMap view, and export your plans as an ICS file for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or another calendar app. YearMap is designed for people who like the clarity of a paper year planner but want a little more structure: reusable categories, category lanes for overlapping plans, notes, sharing, weekend highlighting, optional weekday alignment, and calendar export. YearMap is designed to work as your new-tab calendar when it controls Chrome’s new-tab page. If another extension controls your new-tab page, you can still open YearMap anytime from its toolbar icon. Key features: - Full 12-month year view in a compact vertical layout - Click-and-drag range selection - Up to 5 color-coded categories - Multiple category lanes per day, so different kinds of plans can sit side by side - Optional notes on ranges, with hover previews and exported event descriptions - Read-only share links for showing a snapshot of your YearMap to someone else - Category day totals - Optional weekend highlighting - Optional weekday-aligned layout - Built-in command help for selection, deletion, undo, sharing, and range editing - ICS export for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar apps Privacy: YearMap keeps your calendar data in Chrome storage and can optionally sync it through your Chrome profile. It does not require an account. Share links encode a read-only snapshot in the link itself; YearMap does not store shared calendars on a server. ICS export files are generated locally in your browser. Optional anonymous usage analytics are off unless you explicitly allow them. If enabled, YearMap sends four limited usage signals to PostHog: analytics enabled, one active-day signal per day, first range created, and successful share-link copy. These signals use a random installation ID and never include calendar content, notes, dates, URLs, account information, or shared-link contents. You can turn analytics off anytime in Settings.
