Click the extension icon and drop in an EPUB or MOBI file (up to 50 MB). 2. The format is detected automatically. Check the direction, or reverse it with one click. 3. Click Convert. The converted book is saved to your Downloads folder. What people use it for • Reading on a Kindle: copy the MOBI file to your device over USB. • Leaving Kindle: move MOBI books to Kobo, Apple Books, Google Play Books or any other reader that uses EPUB. • Publishing: prepare a manuscript in both formats. A note about Send to Kindle Amazon's Send to Kindle service now accepts EPUB files and no longer accepts MOBI. If you send books to your Kindle that way, send the EPUB as it is. How your files are handled • Conversions run on our server using the open-source Calibre engine. • Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, and the converted book comes straight back to your browser. • No account is required. • The extension collects basic usage statistics, such as whether a conversion succeeded, to help us improve it.
