**Component Copy** helps designers and developers capture UI components from any website as PNG files—without fighting the system screenshot tool. **How it works** 1. Click the extension icon on the site you want to capture. 2. Choose optional padding (great for shadows and rounded corners). 3. Hover to highlight a component, click to download. 4. Press ↑ to select a parent element, Esc to cancel. **Why use it** - Pixel-accurate crop of the element you select - Retina-sharp output using your display’s pixel ratio - Works on normal websites when you invoke the extension (activeTab) **Privacy** - No analytics, no accounts, no data sent to external servers - Only your padding preference is stored locally
