LinkedIn Comment Assistant helps you write short, relevant comments on LinkedIn posts using your own OpenAI API key. WHAT IT DOES When you click a LinkedIn comment box, a panel opens with three comment options based on that post’s caption. Click an option to insert it. Comments are generated only when you open a post or tap Recreate. Choosing an option does not call OpenAI again. WHO IT IS FOR • Personal: general comments that compliment the post. No knowledge base needed. • Brand marketing: comments that mention your brand from your knowledge base. • Both: switch between General and Brand in the panel. Pin the extension and open Settings. 2. Enter your OpenAI API key. 3. Choose Personal, Brand marketing, or Both. 4. If you chose Brand or Both, add a knowledge base (your company, product, and tone). 5. Optionally turn on emojis. 6. Save, then refresh the LinkedIn tab. 7. Open a post, click Comment / Add a comment, and pick an option. WHAT YOU NEED An OpenAI API key. The extension does not provide AI access by itself. Usage is billed to your OpenAI account. PRIVACY Your API key and knowledge base stay in Chrome storage on your devices (Chrome sync). Post text is sent to OpenAI only to generate comments.
