Keeps a live, always-on-top thumbnail of a tab. Click the thumbnail to jump back to it.

Peek opens a small, live thumbnail of the current tab in a floating window that stays on top of everything — other tabs, other windows, other apps. Watch a video, a build, a live dashboard, a stream or a chat while you do something else, and jump back with a single click. HOW TO USE • Click the Peek icon in the toolbar, press Alt+Shift+P, or right-click the page and choose "Peek at this tab". • A live thumbnail of the tab appears and stays on top while you keep working. • Click the thumbnail to jump straight back to that tab. • Click the icon again (or the thumbnail's X) to close it. It only runs on the tab where you start it, only when you start it. The tab's picture is shown locally in the thumbnail and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. NOTES • The thumbnail is for watching: clicks inside it bring you back to the tab rather than interacting with the page. • Browser pages (chrome://…) and the Chrome Web Store can't be captured.
