Does not work anymore on Chrome...

Hi, I get a message saying

HostAdmin app is no longer supported. Older vesion of Chrome Apps won't open on Mac devices after December 2022. You can check if there is a new version available."

I can only select "remove app".....

Bookmark the app?

Is it possible to manually start the Background app? I would like to be able to bookmark it, or even to run it straight from the Dock on my Mac...

Write hosts file failed check permissions

I get the error "Write hosts file failed check permissions". Then when I click "Learn more" and try to implement the cryptic instructions I get more errors like "Cacls is now deprecated, please use Icacls" and "Invalid parameter /E".

Chrome DNS/Sockets

Looks like you are able to successfully "Clear host cache" in Chrome. Can you also "Close idle sockets"? That's the only thing I have to do manually when using the extension. Otherwise, it works great for me!

windows 10

I have been using this without problem however in windows 10 it no longer works and there are permission issues. Any thoughts?

Keep groups on top

After every chrome restart, the groups are moved to the bottom of the list. they should stay at the top if they are moved up there, if not just always at the top.

go back to original extension

this is a downgrade as previous version, more useful the extension icon and editor

soo.. so much dificult to access /etc/hosts files in MAC .. wtf? uninstalling

No extension button on Linux

No extension button appears when enabling the extension.
