Sitefence blocks the websites that pull you away from your work, on desktop Chrome. No account, no sign-up: install it and start blocking. FREE • Block whole websites, a single page or path (for example reddit.com/r/all), or any address that contains a word you choose. • Block up to 2,000 sites, free. • Scheduled blocking: pick the days and hours when your blocks apply. • Focus mode: timed work sessions with a Pomodoro timer (25 minutes of focus and 5 of break to start with; you can change both). • One click: block the site you are on from the toolbar button or the right-click menu. • Site icons in your block list, so you can see what is on it at a glance. You can still add more blocking. • Only-allow mode: every web page is blocked except the sites on your own list. • Block by category with one switch each: Social media, Video and streaming, Online shopping, News, Games. The Adult list (about 9,500 sites) is marked Beta and can block a site by mistake; you can allow any site it catches. • Daily limits: set a number of minutes per day for a site. • Statistics: see the time you spend per site. It sends the license key and a random device number, nothing else. It never sends the sites you block or visit. • Your block list, settings, password (stored only as a salted hash) and statistics stay on your own computer. • No ads, no tracking, no remote code. • Access to a website is asked for one site at a time, when you block it, so Sitefence can show its own block page.
