without copy & paste

is there a way where i can just click the extension and it will compare the selection or something close rather than copy and pasting?

Ability to ignore whitespace

Hi i find ths extension really handy just for copy / paste and see the differences between 2 files - however if they have different whitespace formatting it is difficult to see changes - is there any way you could add a setting to ignore whitespace changes?
