Click to remove annoying page elements: cookie banners, chat bubbles, pop-ups. Optionally keep them gone on every visit.

Some pages just won't let you read. A cookie banner covers half the screen, a chat bubble sits on top of the text, a "subscribe to our newsletter" box pops up the moment you scroll. Grudge Keeper lets you remove them with one click. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the toolbar icon (or press Ctrl+Shift+K; on Mac, Control+Shift+K). 2. Move the mouse over the page. The element under the cursor is highlighted. 3. Click it. It's gone. Press Esc to cancel without removing anything. GRUDGE MODE (optional) Turn on Grudge in the options page and Grudge Keeper remembers what you removed on each page. Next time you open the same page, those elements are removed automatically, even if they load late. You can review and delete remembered items from the options page at any time. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-in, no tracking, no analytics. • Nothing you do is sent anywhere. The list of removed elements is stored only in your browser. • Works offline. The extension makes no network requests. GOOD TO KNOW • Removing an element only changes the page in your own browser. Reloading the page brings it back (unless Grudge mode is on). • Chrome does not allow extensions to run on chrome:// pages or the Chrome Web Store. • You can change the keyboard shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. CREDITS Grudge Keeper is based on the open-source extension "ekill" by René Hansen (MIT License), updated to Manifest V3.
