See LinkedIn's recorded original posting date directly below the selected job's title header, when matching originalListedAt evidence is available. Dates are shown in UTC; hover for the exact timestamp and evidence source. LinkedIn's recorded date may differ from the employer's first publication. If the current document is missing the original field, the extension checks the same job through one additional LinkedIn request using your existing browser session. While checking, it shows "Checking original LinkedIn post date…". Missing or unsafe evidence shows "Original post date unavailable". It never guesses from relative age, repost dates or first-seen time. Unsupported or ambiguous layouts show no annotation. Recognized English www.linkedin.com Jobs layouts include standalone details and selected search-detail panels. Reload Jobs after installation, after updating, or when entering from the feed. LinkedIn markup/date availability can change. Conservative heading checks may require reload after indistinguishable title changes. Requests go only to LinkedIn for the selected job, with one attempt per job per document, one active lookup, a 15-second timeout, an 8 MiB response limit and a 50-job attempt cap. Cancelled/failed attempts are not automatically retried. Sign-in, challenge, forbidden and rate-limit responses pause lookups until reload. Reload resets document state and the attempt budget. Website content is processed locally and transiently. The browser automatically uses its LinkedIn session for the request; the extension does not extract credentials or read cookie values. No publisher server, third-party requests, analytics, persistent storage or remote code is used. Fetched HTML is inert text without script execution or resource loading.
