CalendarTools for Google Calendar
Overview
Adds bilingual date labels and a compact editable Calendar day panel.
See your month and a selected day's schedule together. CalendarTools adds a resizable day panel alongside Google Calendar's Month view, with the full day's timeline fitted to the available window height. Plan and navigate: - View a month and a day side by side. Click a day number to update the open day panel, or keep the views independent. - Navigate with arrows, Today and the small date picker. Nearby dates switch within the existing panel; first loading and distant dates can still require loading Google Calendar. - Optionally let the main month follow the panel, and use Shift+Left/Right for days and Shift+Up/Down for Today, outside typing and open forms. - Keep the panel's open/closed choice across Calendar tabs and windows in the same browser profile. Newly loaded pages start on Today; dates in existing windows stay independent. Choose your local highlights: - Bilingual month and weekday labels with two of 14 supported date languages, their order and separator. - Optional weekday backgrounds with individual colors and intensity. - Separate optional outlines and colors for Today and the day shown in the panel. - Working hours for each weekday, up to two ranges with a break, and an explicit night-shift option. A shift starting Monday 22:00–06:00 highlights Monday evening and Tuesday morning, even if Tuesday is not selected as a start day. - Copy hours to selected weekdays, save up to 12 named working-hours profiles and apply them manually. Undo the last hours copy or profile application while the settings tab remains open, provided the affected hours have not changed since. Make the interface comfortable: - Event details and creation dialogs fit the available day-panel space, including long titles. Event cards can show titles alone or titles with times. - Adjustable left sidebar width and optional sidebar content scaling. - Pin selected switches to the toolbar menu and change their order with arrow buttons. - Automatic menu width, optional manual width, four interface text sizes and collapsible settings groups with remembered layout. Larger sets of options may require scrolling within the browser's popup limit. - Automatic, Light, Dark and Colorful themes for CalendarTools' own menu, settings, help and update notice. These themes do not recolor the native day panel or its date picker. - Polish/English help, setting hints and release history. A qualifying Chrome Web Store update shows a one-time What's new notice; unpacked development copies do not show it automatically. - Restore one settings group's defaults after confirmation, and export/import local preferences with a preview. Accounts and events are excluded from settings files. - Enable CalendarTools on all Google accounts or only accounts you select. This does not combine calendars from separate accounts. - Report a problem prepares an editable email draft with the extension version and locally available browser details. No accounts, events or logs are attached automatically, and the extension does not send it. New installations open the linked day panel by default. Closing it and later manual choices are remembered. Menu language stays visible below Enable extension: Automatic follows the browser interface (Polish for PL, English otherwise), or choose Polski or English manually. New installations start on Automatic; existing language choices are preserved. Date languages are selected separately. CalendarTools runs only on calendar.google.com and uses your existing Google session. The side-by-side layout is designed for Month view and Google's custom four-day view. Time format follows Google Calendar, including 24-hour and AM/PM. Privacy: Calendar page elements are processed locally for these interface features. Preferences, optional saved work schedules and explicitly selected account addresses stay in local extension storage. No developer-operated server, analytics, tracking or advertising. Google's native Calendar application communicates with Google as usual; CalendarTools does not request separate OAuth access or use the Google Calendar API. Code, visual assets and help are bundled. Sending a support email is your choice in your mail application. CalendarTools is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
