Import visible literature search results and citation files you choose into your MetaPrism review.

MetaPrism Capture imports bibliographic records from literature databases and from citation files into your MetaPrism systematic review projects. What you can import Use it on a literature search results page when the records are already visible in your browser. You can also import a citation file that you choose on your computer. Whether a given site works depends on the record fields that page shows. The extension does not retrieve results that are not already on the page. How it works 1. Sign in to your MetaPrism account (production or your own instance). 2. Select the project to receive new records. 3. Capture the search results shown on the current page, or import a citation file you select. 4. Preview and deselect records before import. 5. Each import is logged in Search History so the review stays transparent and reproducible. What we read - and what we do not - The extension reads visible page metadata on declared literature hosts only. It does not bypass vendor authentication, scrape behind paywalls, or access content you cannot already see in your browser session. - Citation files are parsed locally from files you select; nothing is uploaded until you confirm import. - Access and refresh tokens are stored in browser extension local storage. They are not placed in URLs. - Optional capture diagnostics record technical metadata only (host, adapter name, counts). They never include tokens, titles, abstracts, or full citation bodies. - The extension sends no remote analytics or telemetry. Requirements - A MetaPrism account on https://metaprism.io or a compatible self-hosted instance. - Institutional or personal access to literature databases where applicable.
