Overview
One-click disable for Meta Advantage+ AI enhancements. Bulk across drafts, 70 categories, undo, whitelist. No account, no tracking.
Disable Meta's "Advantage+" AI enhancements in Facebook Ads Manager with one click. Ship your creatives exactly as you uploaded them — no auto-cropped images, no AI music, no rewritten captions, no surprise site links. WHAT IT DOES Meta has quietly pre-enabled ~60 AI "enhancement" toggles inside every ad you create — Advantage+ creative, Standard enhancements, Music, Catalog items, Site links, Promotions, Add image templates, Visual touch-ups, Branding, audience expansion, placements expansion, and many more. Most marketers don't realise the toggles exist until reporting goes sideways. This extension flips them off: • One ad at a time — click "Disable Enhancements" in the popup, or use the floating widget on the Ads Manager page • In bulk — sweep every draft (or active ad) in an account in one run, with undo • Per-category control — keep what you like, kill what you don't KEY FEATURES ✓ 60+ enhancement categories supported ✓ Bulk mode with progress, cancel, and undo ✓ Per-account category locks — different settings per ad account ✓ Whitelist by ad name regex — skip ads you don't want touched ✓ Floating widget on Ads Manager (draggable, dismissable) ✓ Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + D ✓ Stats and history of recent runs ✓ Auto-disable while editing — flips new toggles off as Meta renders them ✓ Dark / light / auto theme WHY INSTALL → Predictable creative — your ad runs as you designed it, not as Meta's model "improved" it → Cleaner A/B tests — no hidden variable from AI variants → Saves 20-30 clicks per ad — manual disabling is buried in 4 levels of sub-modals → Bulk fix for accounts already polluted with enhancements PRIVACY • Zero data collection. No analytics, no telemetry, no error reporting. • No account, no signup, no login. • No external servers — the extension makes zero network requests of its own. • Settings live in chrome.storage on your machine. • Open about what it touches: every category is listed in the popup, every action is logged locally (optional). Full privacy policy: https://ads-cleaner.com/privacy.html PERMISSIONS • storage — saves your preferences locally • activeTab — sends commands to the Ads Manager tab you're looking at • scripting — re-attaches to open Ads Manager tabs after extension updates • notifications — brief "done" toast after a long bulk run SUPPORT Bug or feature request? Email support@ads-cleaner.com — reply within a day or two. The extension is in active development; Meta ships UI changes weekly and we ship updates to keep up. Built by an independent developer who got tired of Meta turning his ads into something else.
