Meridian
Overview
A beautiful multi-timezone new tab page. See the time of day across the world in color.
Meridian replaces your new tab with a stunning timezone dashboard. Each location you add becomes a full-height column painted with colors that reflect the local time of day: pale creams at noon, warm ambers in the afternoon, deep corals at sunset, and dark navies at midnight. What makes Meridian different is that adjacent columns blend seamlessly into each other. Instead of hard-edged stripes, you see one continuous color landscape that flows across the world, giving you an instant, visceral sense of what time it is everywhere that matters to you. FEATURES - Time-of-day gradients that update every minute - Seamless blending between adjacent timezone columns - 600+ cities across all major IANA timezones - Instant fuzzy search to find any city - 12-hour or 24-hour format - Optional seconds display - DST detection with UTC offset - Relative time offset from your home timezone - Dynamic typography that adapts to how many columns you have - Your setup persists across sessions PRIVACY Meridian stores your timezone preferences locally using chrome.storage. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared. No analytics. No tracking. No network requests beyond loading Google Fonts for typography. CREDITS Inspired by Figure It Out (figureito.com).
