Meowminder — Cute Cat Reminders
Overview
A little cat peeks in from the side of your screen with your reminder. Water breaks, routines, one-time reminders. 100% local.
System notifications are easy to ignore. A small cat sliding up from the edge of your screen, holding a speech bubble that says "drink some water" — that, somehow, is not. Meowminder delivers your reminders as a gentle animated cat on whatever page you're reading. Hit Done and it slinks away. Hit +10 min if the meeting ran over. That's the whole interaction. WHAT IT DOES • One-tap daily routines: drink water (hourly), stand up and stretch, the 20-20-20 eye rule, wind-down time — or your own daily schedule • One-time reminders: "tea with Sarah in 15 min", "call mom at 6", any custom time • The cat appears on the page you're on — no jarring system pings (a plain notification is used as fallback on pages the cat can't visit, like Chrome's own screens) • Snooze any reminder +10 minutes right from the speech bubble • Your cat, your rules: left or right side of the screen; gray, orange or black coat • Pick your sound — a soft meow, a bell, a gentle ding, or silence • Reminders survive browser restarts — anything that came due while Chrome was closed greets you on the next launch WHAT IT DOESN'T DO • No account, no tracking, no analytics, nothing sent anywhere. • All reminders are stored locally in your browser. The cat is a few kilobytes of hand-drawn SVG — no images are fetched, no network requests are made. • It never reads or changes page content. The cat is drawn in its own isolated layer on top of the page and removes itself completely.
