Handlus: MCP for Chrome

Chrome MCP extension for Claude Code, Codex and other MCP clients. Your AI agent drives this Chrome; you pick each Chrome by name.

Handlus is a Chrome MCP extension. It lets the AI agent you already use, such as Claude Code, Codex or Claude, drive this Chrome over remote MCP. Install the extension, connect it with your Google account, a 6-digit code sent to the email you signed up with, or a connection key you created, and add the Handlus MCP address to your agent. There is nothing else to install. Running several Chromes? Give each one a name, like Work or Personal, and your agent uses the one you name. When two or more are open, it asks which one instead of guessing. What your agent can do - Open, close, and switch tabs; list windows and tabs - Read page text and page structure; take screenshots - Click, type, select, send keyboard input, upload files - Record network requests and read console messages; send requests directly - Handle downloads and dialogs - Search history and bookmarks; add or delete bookmarks - Run flows you recorded in the side panel - Show the page the agent is looking at in the popup and in the chat card Pages the agent opens load in a background tab, so the tab you are looking at stays put. Before connecting, the extension shows what information goes to the server and asks for your consent. Page content, screenshots, and tool results pass through the relay without being stored. You can disconnect any time from the dashboard. Tested with Claude Code, Codex, Claude and ChatGPT (the Claude desktop app uses the same connector). Other MCP clients that support remote MCP over HTTP with OAuth sign-in, such as Cursor, connect to the same address. Not affiliated with any of these companies.
